Linktree
Linktree is a popular service that lets people discover and navigate to all your social networks from a single page. We also use ours to point to the ActionNetwork onboarding page.

ActionNetwork Onboarding Page
"Onboarding" is the process of getting set up in, and oriented to, a new organization's resources. It should be unnecessary to provide a direct link to the ActionNetwork onboarding page* since it is the first link on the linktree:

Joining WhatsApp
We do not provide a link to directly join WhatsApp. We prefer that people use the ActionNetwork Onboarding Page to provide both a full name, cell phone and email address, and information on interests, connections, and skills. After people onboard, they are automatically sent an onboarding email with instructions on joining WhatsApp and the listserv.
Public Email Address
We do have an email for people to reach us for inquiries and for press mailings. However, it should be unncessary to publish the email address since it is found on the linktree page. Onboarding requests take a different route and notifications are sent directly to our ActionNetwork administrators. However, for those who want to bypass the onboarding process, here's an email address you can use – but please don't bypass the onboarding process.
The Listserv
A listserv is an email based service. We provide a listserv for members who prefer to obtain their information by email and for everyone to receive long and detailed communications (sometimes with file attachments). We encourage everyone to join the listserv and we try to put critical announcements on the listserv in case people miss them on WhatsApp. Once you join, any email sent to [email protected] will end up in your inbox. And once you join, any time you send an email to [email protected] it will end up in everyone's inbox.
Substack (pseudo-website)
Substack is an easy-to-use blogging platform that also provides a mailing list, which consists of anyone who signs up to read what we have to say. We have published several long-ish articles on it already. The built-in mailing list is not as full-featured as MailChimp or Constant Comment but it gets the job done. Substack is free and so is the mailing list service. The "Contact Us" link on substack takes you to our linktree, which provides links to all the social media we maintain. Until we have a budget for a real website, it's a good substitute.

QR Code
A QR ("quick response") code is a kind of barcode that was first used in the Japanese automotive parts industry. It allows a URL to be read by cellphone cameras, which is easier than trying to enter all the letters, colons, and slashes in a URL perfectly. We use a QR code for registration, rallies – any occasion where we want to make it easy for people to quickly locate us on the internet.
